I take selection of second photographers VERY seriously – I have a group of colleagues in the industry that are wedding photographers themselves and have expertise when it comes to shooting a wedding day and file handling. These are pals I'd trust with my own wedding photos and who are all really amazing people. Upon booking, I reach out to them and book based on availability.
HOW do you choose your second photographer?
I know how exciting it is to relive your day! I deliver sneak peeks within a week of the wedding and your full gallery within 8-10 weeks after your wedding. Engagement and couples sessions are typically delivered in 2-4 weeks.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! Though I'm based on the East Coast, I love traveling and capturing stories around the world. Bear in mind that areas outside the DMV area may incur additional fees.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
HELL YES! Olive & Mint Photography proudly loves and serves all genders, gender expressions, sexualities, body types, races, and ethnicities.
DO YOU serve lgbtq+ couples & families?
Good question! A lot of people think that just because a photographer hasn't photographed at their particular venue, they won't be able to capture the wedding day with skill and intentionality. With all due respect, this isn't true.
When you book a photographer, part of what you're hiring for is whether or not your professional is able to photograph in any situation. With me, you can rest assured: I'm equipped to photograph weddings of all sizes, in all lighting situations and/or weather conditions.
Also, if it adds to comfort levels, I'm always willing to go to the venue ahead of time to tour the location and scope things out.
