Date-Night Engagement Session in Downtown Fells Point + Gunther & Co. Restaurant

I cried tears of joy in the middle of this session.

Engagement sessions are always the most fun because it’s when I get a front row seat to your love story: How you laugh together, the sweet looks you toss back-and-forth, and how you naturally fold into one another.

My session with Andrew and Kaveh began at Gunther & Co., one of the best restaurants in all of Baltimore if you ask me. This location held sentimental value to the couple and Gunther was kind enough to allow us to use their space before the dinner rush. Following our time in the Brewer’s Hill neighborhood of Canton, we ventured over to downtown Fells Point to explore the neighborhood, the Wharf, and of course we ended our time at the Pier.

Andrew and Kaveh are two people that I knew I’d be lifelong friends with upon meeting – I’m lucky enough to have been the photographer for their Spring 2025 backyard wedding and to be the photographer for their Spring 2026 “big wedding” at the Butterfly Room in Baltimore, MD.

Their story: Kaveh and Andrew met online in 2020 when they lived in Baltimore and Harrisburg. After nearly two years of long-distance, they decided to move in together right here in Charm City.
